Sup Makaroni Ayam


Assalamualaikum... Salam Sejahtera
Cik Mira datang kembali dengan CookiNg with L.O.V.E
hehe... setelah sekian lama.. Alhamdulillah... berjaya juga mengupdate..
Kali nih Mira cuba buat sup. Sedap! hehe.. dan sudah tentulah ini makanan kegemaran Cik Mira yang comel ini juga.
Senang saja nak buat... kalau yang sukakan pedas, boleh la buatkan sambal kicap cili padi sekali..
versi sup ini tak pedas.. sesuai untuk Cik Mira dan kanak kanak yang tak makan pedas.. hehe

Bahan bahan:
  • 100g Makaroni (direbus sehingga lembut dan toskan)
  • 300g Ayam (dipotong kecil)
  • 6 ulas bawang merah (ditumbuk)
  • 2 ulas bawang putih (ditumbuk)
  • 1/2 inci halia (diketuk)
  • 6 cawan air (atau secukupnya)
  • 1 sup bunjut
  • 4 biji kentang (dipotong 8)
  • 1 batang lobak merah (dipotong bulat)
  • 1 kiub pati ayam
  • garam secukupnya
  • daun sup dan daun bawang (diracik)
  • minyak untuk menumis


Cara menyediakan:
  1. Panaskan minyak dan tumis bawang merah, bawang putih dan halia sehingga harum.
  2. Masukkan air, ayam, sup bunjut, kentang dan pati ayam. Biarkan mendidih selama 20 minit.
  3. Setelah 20 minit, baru dimasukkan lobak merah. Biarkan mendidih lagi 10 minit.
  4. Masukkan garam secukupnya.
  5. Setelah kesemuanya masak, barulah dimasukkan makaroni, daun sup dan daun bawang.
  6. Sedia dihidangkan.
Dah siap.. senang sangat kan? Selamat mencuba.. hehe.. tersangat teruja bila boleh masak masak nih.. hehe...


 
Mira akan masukkan sekali nasi dalam mangkuk nih dan seterusnya... slurrrppp...slurrrppp...slurrrppp...sampai licin

What is Bain Marie?


Assalamualaikum... 
I had a blast in the library last Monday.. wow.. in the library? Do they have roller coaster in there? hehe.. No.. I just love to be surrounded by thousands of books.. especially books with a lot of beautiful pictures since I'm not really like too many words in one page.. haha
Considering myself as a newbie in cooking world, I came across new word when I browsed a recipe book and this word will be added into my CookiNg with L.O.V.E vocabulary. hehe..
Can I have a drumroll please? hehehe .... and the word is: 'Bain Marie'.
Bain Marie is a cooking technique whereby a container of ingredients is placed in shallow bath of warm water. This method is used in cooking dishes like custards or melting chocolates. 
Also known as a water bath. Oh, I know this.. but this is something new for me to know the other term of it.. and it in French.. (again) A lot of people like french words.. hehe


Sometimes your joy is the source of your smile,

Craving countdown


Assalamualaikum... hello to everyone!
First of all, I have to apologize to readers of my blog (well, I hope at least someone reads it) for this long and unexplained absence of new recipes. It has been one month since I last posted recipe I tried here on the CookiNg with L.O.V.E.
I have not dropped off the face of the planet. In fact, I have been going through some obstacle and challenges that has left me with little time and also I didn't have the luxury to do some of the fun stuff (like trying new recipe and blogging). While neglecting to post new recipe over a month was a necessary evil, I am happy to say that normal blogging shall resume shortly.
I know some of you may craving for delicious dishes prepared by Cik Mira yang cun. So I decide to give a simple tips to keep your cravings from turning into out-of-control binges. hehehe...

If you get an uncontrolled craving for something else before or even after your snack, don't give in.
Just try to distract yourself for 10 minutes 
-that's how long the average food craving lasts and if you can get past this point without eating 
you'll have successfully avoided temptation for another day.
Even better, spend that 10 minutes sipping a glass of water or herbal tea 
-remember, many of us mistake food cravings for thirsty.

and deal with what will become big while it is yet small

Etika waktu makan dan minum


Assalamulaikum.. Salam sejahtera.
hehehehehehe.... Cik Mira tiada update COokiNg with L.O.V.E lagi.. sabar yer..
sekarang nih menggunakan laptop yang 'sangat canggih' huhu.. jadi tak dapat nak update dengan best.. hehe
Kena tunggu kepulangan My Cintasayangiluvu bersama laptopnya yang comel itu.. hehe..
Jadi kali ni Mira nak berkongsi sikit bahan bacaan tadi
bukanlah jurnal mahupun tesis.. haha.. cuma sedikit bahan bacaan ringan-ringan sambil mengingatkan diri sendiri..


Etika waktu makan dan minum

Waktu Makan
  • Memulakan suapan dengan membaca Bismillah dan mengucapkan Alhamdulillah apabila selesai makan.
  • Ucapan di atas sebaik-baiknya turut diperdengarkan kepada orang lain untuk mengingatkan orang lain yang makan bersama jika mereka terlupa.
  • Makan menggunakan tangan kanan.
  • Makan dengan suapan kecil agar tidak dilihat sebagai orang yang gelojoh.
  • Kunyah perlahan-lahan supaya makanan betul-betul hadam sebelum ditelan.
  • Habiskan makanan yang ada dalam mulut sebelum meneruskan suapan supaya tidak dianggap tamak.
  • Jangan mencela makanan yang ada. Contohi sikap Rasulullah yang tidak pernah mencela makanan. Sekiranya baginda tidak inginkan makanan itu, baginda akan membiarkannya sahaja.

Waktu Minum
  • Ambil gelas dengan tangan kanan dan ucapkan Bismillah dan diakhiri dengan Alhamdulillah.
  • Minum dengan perlahan-lahan, bukan sekaligus.
  • Periksa gelas terlebih dahulu sebelum meminum isinya.

Tiada guna kehidupan kalau tiada keberkatan
